Raw Animal-Based Ice Cream Recipe
This is ice cream you can feel so good about! You'll be nourishing your body & your family with raw, bioavailable vitamins, probiotics and healthy fats from the Raw Milk and Raw Cream, plus the addition of egg yolks and raw honey - it's packed with nutrition and you will feel so good enjoying it!
You will need:
2 cups Raw Cream
2 cups Raw Milk
1/2 cup Raw Honey
3 pastured Egg Yolks (pastured, from a good source)
2 Tbsp Vanilla extract
1/2 tsp Redmond Real Salt
In a blender, mix the cream, milk, egg yolks, honey, salt and vanilla. Pour into the ice cream machine and churn according to the machine’s directions. I churned mine for 26 minutes total.
My ice cream maker (Cuisinart) makes a soft serve style (pictured above) so I prefer to freeze it for a few hours before serving. It scoops easier that way. But my boys somehow always enjoy it soft right away before I can freeze it! ha. Enjoy!
