Herd Share & Refund Policy

Welcome!

Please review our policies and terms. Once you sign up for a herd share, we will email the Herd Share Agreement and Bill of Sale within 24 hours Monday - Friday during business hours for you to sign electronically to officially begin your share as soon as the next delivery.

Herd Share Agreement and Bill of Sale

To begin the herd share and receive your first delivery, you must electronically sign the Herd Share Agreement and Bill of Sale. We will not start your share and deliver milk until it is completely signed. This document will be sent to your email address within 24 hrs of you signing up for a herd share (with the exception of weekends).

Communication

Becoming a herd share member, you agree to receive emails from the farm. This will include announcements, events, holiday schedule changes, and other news that is important regarding herd shares and the farm.

When contacting us about shares, we ask that you please contact us via email. We realize that texts are “easy,” but it’s not reliable in reaching us and makes it difficult to keep track of conversations. Please email us at yourfarmers@creambrookfarm.com

Deliveries

Deliveries are made every week, year round. It is our responsibility to deliver your herd share and your responsibility to pick it up.

Your account will be billed because the herd share was delivered, regardless if you pick it up or not. 

If milk is not picked up on time (view your location's hours in your member portal)  it will be removed from the store, so that all milk is fresh for each week’s pick up times.

Refunds

If your herd share is missing from the pick up site and you arrived to pick up during the agreed upon days/hours for pick up, we will issue a credit onto your membership account.

Overdue Accounts

If an account owes two weeks deliveries or more without payment, the account may be subject to being placed on hold until full payment is received.

Going Out of Town

Feel welcome to ask a family member or friend to pick up your share ~ simply forward your weekly delivery confirmation email so they know all of the pickup details!

Otherwise, please email us at yourfarmers@creambrookfarm.com at least 7 days prior to the delivery date(s), and we will be glad to do our best to accommodate the hold.

We can place a temporary hold for up to 8 weeks / deliveries every 12 months, while saving the member's spot at their current pickup location.

For any hold requests beyond the 8 weeks, we can place a permanent hold for any length of time;  however, we cannot guarantee space will remain open while on permanent hold.  If capacity fills up, the member's name would be added to our members' waitlist until space reopens (and the wait time varies, based on our herd's milk production & fridge space capacity).

The member's account / card would not be charged while on a temporary hold or a permanent hold.

Cancelling Herd Share & Refund the Ownership Fee

If you choose to cancel the herd share membership, please send us an email TEN (10) calendar days before you want to end the membership so we can plan accordingly. Creambrook Farm Services will buy back your share purchase for the original price.
