We hosted our first Farm Day just days after moving into the farmhouse in the summer of 2017! Looking back, it was a big event to pull off while getting settled here with a toddler and a 5 month old baby, but we remember it with fondness.
It’s important to us that you, our herd share members, know where your milk comes from. You read our newsletters and see our family’s photos, but this is a special way to experience the farm for yourself! And you don’t need to be a member to come to Spring Farm day, all are welcome.
Since we are a young family, raising four little boys, farming and running a business full-time, Ben and I don’t have the margin to host farm tours or visits. Our days are full and that is good! So we plan intentionally for one or two Farm Days per year and we love having everyone here!
Here are the details:
Farm Day is full of all the good things: a drive to the country, beautiful views, family fun, tractor rides, and babycalves!
At Spring Farm Day:
Pet and snuggle the baby calves!
Take a hay ride!
We will be serving samples of our raw milk beverages and our 8 yr old son is making a homemade, fresh-bakeddessert for sale!
Our good friends at Big Spring Cattle Co. will be selling their homegrown beef burgers for lunch!
We’ll have an Oat Box for the kids to play in – like a sandbox but with oat seed!
Creambrook Farm is twenty minutes southwest of Staunton at the intersection of I-81 and I-64, an hour from Charlottesville, and atwo-hour drive from Richmond.
– Tickets are only available online. You do not need to be a herd share member to purchase a ticket.
– This event is rain or shine!
– Wear good footwear and clothing for being on a farm.
– Please leave your pets at home. Thank you!
– You may bring your own picnic lunch if you like!
You will love visiting our farm this May for Spring Farm Day.
